Snapchat has recently became very popular among the target market of 13 to 25 year olds, but what is it?

Snapchat is a photo messaging application (“app”). Using the application, users can take photos, record videos, add text and drawings, and send them to a controlled list of recipients,  with an estimated 400 million Snaps being sent every day.   Users can also set a time limit for how long recipients can view their Snaps ranging from 1 second to 10 seconds , after which they will be hidden from the recipient’s device and deleted from Snapchat’s servers. This provides a novelty with the app, the days of text messaging, whats app and Viber could well be over.

The best feature of Snapchat (other than the reduced possibility of photos appearing on Facebook) is the touchscreen drawing. With it, you can make masterpieces that last only 10 seconds or less. Here you have the chance to be as creative and free as you like.
